Wonder Chamber, A Colorful Fun Photo Experience
We were honored to have been invited to attend Wonder Chamber’s Launch party this past week. We had so much fun. Not only were there creative art-filled rooms with plenty of photo ops and genuinely nice staff but it was interactive as well. From controlling storms and clouds to putting colorful stickers anywhere you want in an all-white room, it was carefully crafted to not only keep you engaged but also keep you wanting more.
I was so excited to attend Wonder Chamber’s Launch Party with Nicte (our client turned good friend) of Nicte Creative Design and our friend who introduced us, Melissa, of Modified by Melissa ! I love being around other creatives and this was certainly the Jackpot! Nicte specializes in Branding and Design and Melissa is a Professional Organizer (aka Sanity Saver) and when Melissa, Nicte, and I get together not only is it an overload of business strategies, creativity, and emotional support but we are constantly laughing and having fun. I have heard it so many times, running a business can be lonely sometimes. I’m lucky that I get to work with my other half every day and that we love talking about how we can better our business for our clients everyday. I do see how doing it solo can be lonely though. We are military spouses, we are mothers, wives and business owners- and boy am I glad to have not only for their amazing friendship but for their professionalism and drive towards their businesses.
We loved Wonder Chamber so much and were having so much fun that we didn’t realize until later that we were the last 3 people to leave (sorry guys). On the way out, we noticed something that we didn’t notice when we walked in- there was a wall that said: Throw your Fears Away and there was a pile of papers and pens near it. This is where Nicte and I almost ugly cried in front of complete strangers (see pictures below). I thought this was a great chance for Nicte to write some inspiration to businesses may be struggling with fears and their business. What Nicte wrote next not only took my breath away but literally had me holding back tears with its truth.
The sole reason for starting our photography business was to be able to spend as much time as possible with my son. Business is unbelievable and we are so grateful to not only have our Portrait/Wedding Photography business but now our new Commercial website is finally live! Of course no one’s perfect and there are days where that mom-guilt sets in. Running a business and trying to be the best mother can be challenging. But then my husband reassures and reminds me that I am a great mother (that’s when I run to just cuddle with my little one). He’s my best friend and if you see us around, you will hardly ever see us without him. He is the reason for our business and we love to include him in it- especially since he’s a pretty good little photographer himself-lol! That is another reason I loved Wonder Chamber- it’s a family oriented business. The proud look in Robert Sr’s eyes (Robbie’s father and co-owner) could actually be felt when he looked at his son and when he talked about him. As we were touring room after room, I saw the cutest older couple in the all-white room taking selfies and having fun. I offered to take a photo of them together and I was so happy that they were excited about it. After I took the photo, I asked where I should send the photo- and they said: “send it to Robbie, he’s our grandson”. It was adorable. Robbie, owner of Wonder Chamber, created a place that even his grandparents could have fun at. And I knew that would probably be one of my favorite photos of the night.
I cannot wait to take our 5-year-old to visit Wonder Chamber!! I know he’s going to absolutely love it as much as we did!!! So what are you waiting for?? Today they are officially open!!!! This is an experience you don’t want to miss!!! And when you do visit- please comment below and tell me which room is your favorite!!! I think my favorite is the black and white framed wall (after all my those are my brand colors).
Thanks to Melissa and Nicte for taking some cute photos of me as well (I’m hardly in photos, since I’m usually behind the camera 😉
